I wasn't a sweet tooth before but I am now.
I don't realised how it begins. Normally I don't eat sweet foods like cakes, candy, kuih, ice cream and I would usually ordered mineral water.
But now, sigh...I just can't seems to stop!
My current obsession is CHOCOLATE. Let it be chocolate itself or chocolate cake.Every single day I eat one piece of chocolate.Oh God why -__-"
I am afraid of having a major health problem in the future due to my food consumption.
Diabetes, kencing manis, kidney failure, batu karang, high blood pressure, heart attack and worse, cancer/tumor.
For the record, I am a 23 years old girl, with an normal BMI and have lots of flabby fats underneath my skin. I am so lazy to exercise! When I was in Form 3, I'd took an hour for a run everyday. I had a very good stamina back then. But to repeat that now seems quite impossible! Whenever I have the mood to go running, I ended up with lots of excuses not to! Oh God I felt super bad.
I have a new resolution. I know it's not new year yet but why must wait for new year to start a new resolution.
Why suddenly wants a major change? Because lately, I started to appreciate the value of life. Life is short. So make the full use out of it. By that means, being sick is not cool. Being fat is not cool, being too thin is not cool. Being HEALTHY is super cool. That means, salad is cooler than McDonalds, mineral water is awesome-er than smoothies, jogging is more exciting than watching tv. .
Let me break it down into a few points to get you clear on why I started with the new resolution:
1) Hospitalisation is costly
2) I don't wanna burden my husband taking care a seriously-ill wife
3) I want to enjoy life with my loved ones with sweet memories
4) I wanna be there for my children's graduation day
5) I wanna be there whenever my husband needs me
6) I wanna be there on my childrens' wedding
7) I wanna contribute to the world, environment and society
8) Physical beauty starts from healthy living life-style
9) I wanna take care of my parents and parents in-laws when they grow old
10) I am not ready to leave the world yet, perlu memperbanyakkan ibadah kepada Allah SWT
11) Ok ok, let's make it short, I JUST WANNA LEAVE LONGER
So, to summarize it all, my new resolutions are:
1) To eat moderately
2) To exercise!
3) Avoiding fried foods and sugar-based foods
4) To watch CALORIES
