For many of you who know me since primary school, you can tell that I was a very fat girl. My weight reached 60kg when I was 12 years old. I was quite famous for being fat in the class. I got teased and bullied a lot =( My self-esteem went low due to the criticism. Since young, I always thought that I will look like Shanie (actress) when I grow up, because many people have predicted so. If you do not know who Shanie is, She is a famous Malaysian actress with a very large figure. Personally, I think she has a very good talent and a strong attitude. She should not be criticized based on her physical appearance. I understand that we all are concern on her health, but there are many other ways to talk her through rather than critically ctricicizing her. And by that means, I also do not like to be criticized!
I would usually get this a lot:
"Atiza? Oh budak gemuk tu eh."
"Sape la yang nak kat budak gemuk mcm dia tu"
"Pakai ape2 baju pun tak lawa...baju kurung ajelah selamat"
"Buruknya cara dia jalan. Kaki kengkang sana sini. Gemuk sgt"
"Tepilah sikit, kaki kau tu besar sgt. Sempitlah"
"Baik2 sikit dik, kalau tak jaga makan nanti gemuk mcm akak tu (referring to me)"
Sounds harsh kan? Imagine you have to swallow this since you were 7 years old.
When I was in Form 1, I was still as fat as a ball. But during that period, I was starting to grow a few inches height and thus, my body looked a bit better but still fattish. During my PMR year, I started to jog every evening training for the school's sport's day (because I am tired of being the slowest runner and got teased while running towards the end). I realised that my body were starting to tone up and my flabby fats were reducing. Towards the PMR exam, I studied in the early morning and alang2 dah bangun at 3am, I decided to sahur and puasa during the day. I did that for about 2 weeks time. And I lost 6kg!! From 63kg to 57kg! My best friend, Aqeela realised that and told me I look slim =) Thank you dear for noticing. I didn't even realised that myself because it wasn't my attention to diet, I only studied and puasa for the purpose of PMR and pahala! Alhamdulillah.
Right now, I am 22 years and 8 months old, and my weight is 57kg with a height of 156cm. My goal is to reach 48kg by Hari Raya. I only have about 1 month 11 days to trim down 9kg!
Let's start the diet today shall we!
I'll be posting my food diary from now on. So that I can keep track of my own calories. And also for you to keep on reminding me of my goal.
