My final exam was in January 2012 and the result was published in late February. Thus, my job hunting began in March. As usual, I used a lot of help from the Jobstreet. I was a bit choosy when it comes to work place location. I tend to apply jobs in companies that are very very very near to my house and all the way to Bandar Baru Bangi. My main concern is to avoid working in the middle of KL. My experience facing the poor traffic going back and forth to Ernst and Young was enough to make me suffer. I mean, come onnnn, my tank can be half empty after only 2 days driving to work. arghhh. and my full tank consumption cost me RM60. too much expenses spent on the heavy traffic. Its not worth it!
Well, one of the company that I applied to is BORNEO TECHNICAL SDN BHD which is only located in Shah Alam Glenmarie! dekat jeeee dgn rumah.The position was as an Account Assistant. It was not a permanent position but only a 3 month temporary position. I was aware of this information and was only planning to go for the interview to gain experience. ehehehe. The interview was on 2nd of April. My first real job interview yeahh semangat!! During the interview, the account executive, Rachel, repeatedly asking me whether I really want to have this job because she said the job is ridiculously too simple for me to handle and my academic background definitely can get me a better position. so I started to feel that better i come clean aje lah dgn Rachel ni. So I told her yg I mmg nak carik a permanent job and if she feels that I'm not suitable for this position then I shall withdraw my application. She told me that of course she wanted to have me and she actually offered me the job immediately. But for my career development, she said that I should find another job elsewhere. And so, the interview ended. I rejected her offer and recommended the position to a very good friend of mine because coincidently, she was looking for a temporary job before starting her ACCA in July. yey!!
