Tuesday, 26 June 2012

I've been quite a bit lonely lately. Didn't have much conversation and when given the opportunity, I didn't know what to say.

I'm so damn sleepy. Should be sleeping by now but I coudn't because I wanna talk..hurmm maybe just nak meluahkan perasaan.

Gonna have another same day tomorrow.
Ya Allah please keep me strong.
The loneliness is killing me!!!

First week in SDMSB

As you have known, this week was my first week working. My position is as a Finance Executive-Malaysia and Thailand Region. My company is called Sime Darby Motors, one of the 6 crucial divisions of the Sime Darby Group.

Location? Its in Glenmarie, Shah Alam.

Day 1: Introduction
As I made my way to level one (where the motors HQ is situated), I came accross a young sweet chinese girl named Venice. She invited me to the office with her but I told her I need to wait for Zhariff (HR) to come and get me. So I waited for Zhariff at the lobby while other people smiled at me as they walked by. Then, came along a wise-looking man insisting me to follow him inside the office rather than leaving me waiting alone at the lobby. He is very friendly and nice..I didn't know him. but I can definitely tell by the way he represents himself that he is one of the managers..However, My judgement was wrong..He is not a manager..He is actually our Chief Financial Officer(CFO) Encik Nik Muhammad Hanafi Nik Abdullah!

My day started with the introduction to the whole floor and also to the Hyundai Group upstair. I received a temporary old laptop while waiting for a new one to arrive from China. My team members are awesome. They are Mr Yau (FC), Muhaimi (AM) and Sophia (Executive). Muhaimi gave me the Finance Manual Policy to read and also some MOR reports to go through. My teammates spent the whole day teaching me the company's structure and the nature of our works.

Day 2: Reading and Meeting
There's nothing much I can do to help my team because I'm a newcomer and I do not have the access to the shared drive and no email yet. So I kept myself busy by yawning and reading the manual policy. Around 4pm, I joined my team into a CAPEX report meeting. Basically, what we do is to simplify the report so that the users can understand it better compared to reading reports with lengthy words.

Day 3: Nothing to Do
I'm still reading the Finance Manual Policy slowly just to keep myself busy. Still didnt get any works to do.

Day 4: CAPEX Table
Muhaimi gave me a CAPEX information and asked me to tabulate them. I received my web-based email! yeahhh!

Day 5: Profitability Analysis
Continued doing the CAPEX. Later, Muhaimi let me use his laptop to do the Profitability Analysis while he was attending a meeting. Supposedly there's a meeting with the Hyundai people but there's some miscommunication and the meeting was cancelled.

...........................................
That's just about it. Nothing much to do yet.
So far I love the environment. The peolpe there are very friendly, caring and at the same time, they keep their proffesionalism at the highest point. I'm happy to be a part of the team.

Mix emotions

Another day passed by...Felt so lonely..

Sedih la..Sedih sgt

:'(

..................................................................................................................

On another topic, let's start the countdown.

80 days to go..

Can't wait!

Lately, everytime when I go out with a friend, this one question would arise:

"Nak kahwin ni takut tak?"

Nope, I'm excited =)
Kalau boleh cepatkan wedding ni pun I would really appreciate that =D
So far, I am looking forward to spend my whole lifetime loving my future husband.
Don't you?

Practical: HeiTech Padu Berhad

It's a requirement for every accounting student to experience practical training for 6 months period. My first options was to go into the Big 4 firms. I applied to PWC and KPMG. However PWC rejected me without any further justifications while KPMG took ages to process my application. So I opted for the commercial company. PM Rashid adviced me to join HeiTech Padu Berhad.
And I did.

I had never regretted working in HeiTech. They kept a family-like environment where they make you feel like home. The practical students where assigned under the Finance Manager, Puan Sulaikah Suribot. She allocated us to different superiors and the job scopes were in rotation basis. Along the way, I developed some new friends. I became closer to Aqilah Zakaria (Kayla), Marjan (Mj) and Yaya. These are the three girls I spent my days with. We would go to the toilet, lunch and prayer together. All three girls are of different characters but they are funny in their own kind of ways. Kayla is the type of person who is funny, understanding and firm. Marjan on the other hand is the Queen of all laughter. She managed to crack some jokes on anything. It was indeed very very fun. Yaya is the one who has the strong attitude. She is very serious but very fun at the same time and she can give 100% focus on her works.

Me and Kayla on our first day

Leen, me and Marjan
Oh my, I don't have yaya's picture!

HeiTech's working environment is very pleasant and comfy. I love the fact that the finance team always held a makan-makan session. Almost every week we'll have sponsored foods on the counter. and even better, sometimes we decided on the menu and brought potluck instead. There was once where we decided to have laksa and I was in charge with the cili padi. I thought I brought enough cili padi but instead, it was gone only after 2 hours. So I asked kak Wan to buy more cili padi at the market. hahaha. Good old days!

There was one time the finance team held a bowling tournament together with the auditors. I won  a TM stroller bag from the lucky draw contest. haha. My team was the last team.

Our cute shoes!

With kak Wan Noor Yuslina

With kak Lis and Kak Zai

Our CFO Encik Nasrul Hakim

My team members! Encik Nahar and Kak Hafidah Hanim

The Auditors, Aile, Shahrul and Hilmi

Just Awesome =')

Staying in HeiTech for 6 months has taught me a lot. We had fun, laughter, sadness, frustration, happiness, conflict and stress together that I will never forget in my whole entire life.
InsyaAllah.

This three apom polka-dots held a different story. If you know what I mean ='D

Wonderful Friday

Today was spent quite efficient as my last weekday as a "penganggur". Starting next week, I will be working my ass off. I hope everything will turn out fine.

I admit, I am a bit nervous going to work huhu

Earlier this morning, I spent my time with my dear popo. Popo slept in my bedroom, so after subuh prayer, I'd to carry him outside so that he can pee and breath on the fresh air. For your record, since popo got sick, he can't control his pee and thus there were a few incidents where he would pee on ME while I was carrying him...and that scenario included this morning. I cleaned up his pee on the floor and started to feed Popo. I made him fish with cod liver oil and 3 stabs of milk for breakfast. Then, I'd to make sure that he swallow his medicines. After finished feeding him, I let him alone outside while I have my breakfast.

I took a short nap until 9.30 am when my mom called me to go to the tailor. After a quick bath, I went to the tailor's house with my mom. I booked 5 "tudungs" this time. 1 white inner awning for my solemnization, 2 awning sarung size S in black and light brown, and 2 3layer chiffon awning in pink and purple (RM55each).

After zuhur prayer, I quickly rushed to Leana's house for "Pesta Durian". I was planning to eat only 2 durians but I ended up with 5 durians in my stomach! Here comes the calories!!

Here are some pictures of us having fun for the Pesta Durian.

This was taken by Min's ipad. I love this picture!

Smiling with a big yellow teeth! haha!

Some of the durians. There's a lot more!

Drinking from the durian's skin. It helps to cool our body temperature.

Still drinking somemore!

Another BIG smile =)

Chilling session, where we enjoyed some photos while drinking sirap.

After maghrib prayer, my family and I went to Muara Ikan Bakar in Klang. The foods there were so awesome. and the price was affordable. We ate ikan siakap bakar, ikan jenahak masak 3 rasa, sotong goreng tepung, udang masak pedas, tomyam ayam, sayur kailan masak belacan and otak-otak.

We were all heading to the restaurant's entrance.

Ikan jenahak 3 rasa

Sotong goreng tepung

Udang masak pedas

These are the three dishes that were firstly sent to our table. After taking these 3 photos, I immediately digged in and forgot to capture other dishes photos that came right after.
hehe

We also take home half of the siakap bakar for my dear Popo. FYI, we brought along our own plastic bag to take home some fish for Popo. Then we used the restaurant's tissue to wrap the fish. And tied them with my mom's "getah dapur". hee

For Popo =D
Licin sudaaaah.
Burp!
Alhamdulillah =)

Pillip try to walk

See how Pillip was trying to walk towards me.
:'(

I miss how he used to run with me to the kitchen.
I miss how he used to sit on my laps and sleep on it.
I miss how he would wake me up by walking on my face while I'm sleeping.
I miss how he would meow badly when we wanted to pee.
I miss how he would struggle when I tried to kiss him badly.
I miss how he would get annoyed by me and he bite me and walk away.
I miss when he talks and yawn at the same time.

I just miss my popo.

I came across this saying from my friend's blog,

"Some people are meant to fall in love with each other,
.....but not meant to be together"

Pernyataan yang sgt menakutkan, mintak2 lah dijauhkan.
Amin
