Lala and Zul's Akad Nikah

Alhamdulillah. With only one vow, Lala is now officially a wife to Mr Zulkarnain.

The ceremony begin at 8pm. Me and Izzah arrived at Lala's house by 7.50pm. By that time, Lala was busy getting her make up done. The dulang girls were asked to stay in Lala's room for a briefing while others started camwhoring at the pelamin area. By 8.15, the Tok Kadi arrived followed by the groom. The Tok Kadi started to give his lecture on marriage while the bride and the dulang girls came down the stairs. Around 8.45pm, the akad nikah begins. I started to get teary =') and alhamdulillah everything sailed smooth!

Go Home, now!

16 August 2012

Everyone is already in raya mood. Don't have the feeling to work anymore. Well, at least I am! haha. I didn't apply for any leave this raya. Only the force leave on Wednesday. Why? Because I'm saving my leave for my wedding! hehe. Aneway, yesterday around 4pm Mr Dennis walked around the Malaysia Region and he stopped at my place. Then he said..

Mr Dennis: Young Lady, do you have anything important to do now?

Me: Not at the moment.

Mr Dennis: Then, go home. Now. Go home. but shhh. Don't tell anyone.

Me: (Is he serious? I would really love to go home early but, I just smiled as I thought he was kidding)

Then Mr Dennis stopped by the Zhariff and Nazir's place. I saw him talked to the guys and the guys suddenly packed their things! Omg he was seriously asking people to go home!

Then he looked at me.

Mr Dennis: Young Lady, if I didn't see you pack your laptop now, I will extend your probation period.

Me: Ok boss! I go home!

So I quickly packed my bags and rushed to my car. yeay!! But then, I'm still working on the next day. Damn.

Bridal Shower Day 1

Friday, 10 August 2012

A day before, (Thursday) Izan and Murni came to Shah Alam around 4pm. My office hour ended at 4.30pm. Unluckily I had so much work on that day, that I had to request my sister to fetch them. Later that evening, I reached home by 7.15pm. By 12.30am, Keena and Yah arrived in front of my doorstep. We were now almost complete accept for Iman n Sya. Both of them shall be here by Friday lunch time.

On Friday, we started our journey by heading towards Klang for a spa Treatment. The place was called Ratu Spa. We made booking for 9 people but at that moment, we only have 7 of us. Thus the two extra groupons shall be use later in the future. Most probably I'll give it to my mum n sister.

Our sessions ended by 6.30pm! Thus, Yah suggested that we have our buka puasa in Klang as well. That's when I suggested Muara Ikan Bakar to them. The food was awesome! and the price was indeed very reasonable.

Malaysia Region Buka Puasa

 8 August 2012

Mr Dennis decided to bring all the Malaysian Region's staffs to buka puasa at Saujana Hotel. At first, we chose Famous Thai as our buka puasa restaurant but Mr Dennis insisted to treat us with a higher class dinner in a hotel. Thus, Saujana Hotel became the place. Since I have no idea where was the location, I decided to carpool with Hui Shan.

This was the day when Sophia passed her last ACCA paper. Congratulations dear!

Oh, my sister also passed hers! Congratulations kak =) You are now officially an affiliate!

Buka Puasa with Pasaraya

7 August 2012

I've been neglecting this blog for quite a while now. Sorry I didn't have time to catch up on writing. My day to day activities have been super busy especially when the wedding is nearing. I am not very busy in the office though. Honestly, I've been quite enjoying my stay in SDM. Alhamdulillah. Right now, I have changed cubicle from a very desserted cubicle to a lively one. I am now sitting next to Kak Laila, in front of Sophia and Shiao Mun; and Alice at my back. Hui Shan is transferred to my previous cubicle together with her boss Albert. I know she will survive there. Coz she's such a happy go lucky girl!

Aneway, I have loads to update! First, lets begin with Buka Puasa Event with the Pasaraya. The Pasaraya were excited to have a buka puasa event before my wedding day. Mariam took in charge of the restaurant booking. She suggested a restaurant called Bouquet Garni in section 9 Shah Alam. She also planned with the restaurant manager to allow us "Terawih" at their premis. The manager booked us an imam to guide us for prayer. Alhamdulillah. It was such a joy to have fun with the girls and at the same time we still perform our duty to Allah.

There were so many news shared that night. Sal is going to Kaplan continuing her ACCA starting next week. Nazreen, Pah and Puteh are flying to UK a week after my wedding. Fafa is planning to continue her study in London bringing along her son Haidar and her husband. We finally met Liy's boyfriend for the first time. Aqilah was set up on a blind date by Pah and Isyfaq. Izzati is also working with Sime Darby (under GSC in wisma Raja Laut). And since all of us were there, I took this opportunity to give out my wedding invitation card! :) wink wink.

1) My first trial of the reception dress
2) Buka puasa event with Pasaraya at Bouquet Garni
3) 3 days Bridal Shower road trip
4) Videographer cancellation
5) Gifts from Enny (4 pieces of selendang)

P/S: Today, I had a very stressful situation with my parents regarding the stickers on the doorgift.
I cried in the office. Tersangatlah sedih.

Thank You Emily!

Emily's salary is revised reaching up to RMX,XXX! Today, she decided to treat me, Hana and Wanee to buka puasa at Chilli's Empire!

Hana and Emily
I found it very nice of her to treat us for buka puasa. First of all, she is a Chinese! It is truly sweet of her to stay until 7.29pm to eat together with us. Second of all, we are unrelated to her. I am from the Finance Team-Malaysia Region, Wanee is from the Finance team-Consolidation while Hana is from the Business Development Team. And Emily...well...she is from the Corporate Secretarial!! Her position is actually quite at a high level. She is the Assistant Vice President II working under Miss Noor Zita. Emily has been my good friend since my first week in SDM. Despite her high position level, she always mixes with everybody regardless if you are an intern or just a personal assistant to boss. She treated everyone as equal =')

Today we ordered food like we never eat before.haha. Nafsu makan!

Emily's - Big Mouth Bites

Wanee's - Chicken Chipotle

Hana's - Beef Bacon Burger

Mine's - Mushroom Jack Fajitas

Fajitas Side Dishes

The Three Angels =)
To end our savoury dishes, we ordered desserts which are Brownies Sundae and Molten Chocolate Cake.

Molten Chocolate Cake

During the dinner, we mostly talked about working experience. Emily had quite a lot of interesting experience to share with us. We listened and listened and listened. Honestly, its never boring listening to her word of wisdom.

The best part of our conversation was when we started to touch on religious issues. Emily showed her side of the story on Christianity while we shared a few bits of the Islamic views. Its nice to see how other religion thinks about Islam and at the same time we can tell how they felt about our religion. I do not want to comment on this. I believed that Emily is a very strong Christian believer and I really hope that one day, they will be a light for her to see Islam into more depth. InsyaAllah

Emily said to Hana: Kau nampak macam org arab. You punya mata and skin complexion mcm org arab.

Emily said to Wanee: Kau dgn aku nampak macam org Thailand. Same2 hitam
Ahahahaha!!

Emily said to me: Aku tatau ko nampak mcm org ape. Kau sgt putih.
